33rd International Festival de Hyères – MA student and MA graduate of Photography shortlisted as finalists

In the 2018 edition of International Festival of Fashion and Photography – Festival de Hyères has selected finalists for this spring competition. Among ten finalists are MA-student Jaakko Kahilaniemi and 2017 graduate Sanna Lehto. Last year we were happy to see Sofia Okkonen among finalists.

“After Tim Walker last year, photographer Bettina Rheims will chair the jury of the Photography Division of this 33rd edition. By his side: Bill Mullen, stylist, Jed Root, agent and founder of Artists & Company, Ezra Petronio, editor, creative director and photographer at Self service magazine and Petronio Associates, Charlotte Collet, stylist, Jean Colonna, creator, Serge Bramly, novelist and art critic, India Mahdavi, architect and designer, Saskia de Brauw, model and artist, Alessia Glaviano, editor-in-chief photography of Vogue Italy and Daragh Soden, photographer and winner of the Grand Prix of the jury photography in Hyères last year.

The finalists for the 2018 Photography Contest are: Pascale Arnaud (France), Laetitia Bica (Belgium), Teresa Eng (Canada), Sarah Mei Herman (The Netherlands), Allyssa Heuse (Philippines, France), Jaakko Kahilaniemi (Finland), Csilla Klenyánszki (Hungary), Sanna Lehto (Finland), Eva O’Leary (Ireland, United States) and Aurélie Scouarnec (France).”
